President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, was seen enjoying dinner with the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), at Bakmi Jowo Bu Citro 1 in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday, July 21, 2025. The two leaders sat at the same table during the dinner, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigation (BAPPISUS), Aris Marsudiyanto.
Prabowo and Jokowi were spotted savoring bowls of noodle soup, with glasses of water and tea on the table. Before the meal, the two presidents engaged in a brief one-on-one conversation. The private dinner lasted around one hour, with other members of the Red-and-White Cabinet present at another table, including Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi.
One notable presence at the table was Aris Marsudiyanto, who is the Head of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Gerindra Party for the West Java region. Known for his loyalty and support for Prabowo, Aris has been a key figure behind the scenes, having known Prabowo since their time at the Military Academy in 1992. Aris, who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2006, also serves as the CEO of one of Prabowo’s companies and founded the National Movement for Love of Prabowo (GNCP) during the 2019 elections.
Throughout the elections in 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024, Aris has actively supported Prabowo, especially in West Java. His presence at the dinner with the two presidents and other government officials sparked interest, highlighting his long-standing relationship with Prabowo and his contributions to the political scene in Indonesia.
