President Prabowo Subianto graced the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) held at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in partnership with ITB, saw the President touring various exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s “Flagship Research Products” booth showcasing innovative technologies like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses. Subsequently, President Prabowo delivered his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, expressing his gratitude to key figures present, such as the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, and the Rector of ITB, Professor Tatacipta Dirgantara.
Under the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to drive national economic transformation through research and technological innovation, aligning with the government’s vision for Golden Indonesia 2045. The convention highlights exhibitions across eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
