Indonesia Sends Aid to Gaza on 80th Independence Day

The Garuda Merah Putih-II Task Force recently completed a humanitarian mission to the Gaza Strip in Palestine on Indonesia’s 80th independence anniversary. This collaborative effort involved the Ministry of Defense, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Alms Agency (Baznas). Two Indonesian Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft took off from King Abdullah II Air Base in Amman, Jordan, dropping aid supplies over Gaza and returning safely to the forward operating base. The mission, under President Prabowo Subianto’s direct orders, delivered essential items like food, medical supplies, blankets, and children’s items to Gaza residents. This successful mission not only showcased Indonesia’s commitment to humanitarian solidarity but also highlighted the country’s active role in global peace efforts. The achievement was celebrated as a significant milestone and a special gift for Indonesia’s Independence Day.
