President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently received touching letters from junior and senior high school students at the Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President personally read the letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The photos posted showed President Prabowo engrossed in reading the heartfelt letters and the handwritten note from a student named Erni Andayani. In her letter, Erni expressed gratitude to Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat, providing the opportunity for quality education and rekindling her aspirations.
The launch of Sekolah Rakyat for the 2025–2026 academic year aimed at children from underprivileged families and is managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs. The school currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, covering Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The initiative has enabled students like Erni to access education with complete facilities, nutritious meals, and the chance to pursue their dreams with peace of mind. Sekolah Rakyat is creating opportunities for a brighter future for the children in Indonesia, helping them become the Golden Generation of the nation.
